Hi, I’m Beth — the systems mind behind Brass Tactics.

I design automation systems that eliminate manual work across sales, support, and product operations.

After years working inside SaaS product and operations teams, I kept noticing the same pattern everywhere:

Smart teams…
great tools…
and an absolute mess happening between the tools.

Leads getting lost.
Support tickets manually triaged.
Product feedback scattered across Slack threads and spreadsheets.

Not because anyone was doing anything wrong.

Because the systems were never designed to work together.

That’s exactly what Brass Tactics fixes.

My Background

I’ve spent over a decade working in product operations, systems strategy, and workflow design inside growing SaaS companies.

Across those roles, my focus was always the same:

Help teams operate better.

That usually meant things like:

• connecting tools that didn’t integrate
• fixing broken reporting pipelines
• streamlining product and support workflows
• reducing operational friction across teams

Most of this work lived behind the scenes.

But when systems improve, the impact is immediate.

Teams move faster.
Decisions get clearer.
Operations stop getting in the way of progress.

Why I Built Brass Tactics

After solving these problems internally for years, I realized something:

Most companies don’t struggle because they lack tools.

They struggle because their tools don’t work together.

Manual work slowly creeps into operations:

spreadsheets
manual routing
reporting exports
endless copy-pasta between systems
random Slack archaeology

Before long, teams are spending more time managing the tools than actually running the business.

Brass Tactics exists to fix that.

I design automation systems that connect the tools your team already uses, streamline workflows, and eliminate the repetitive operational work that slows everyone down.

How I Work

Automation projects at Brass Tactics follow a very simple philosophy:

Don’t add more tools.
Make the tools you already use work together.

That means:

• understanding how your teams actually work
• identifying where manual work slows things down
• designing automation systems that remove friction
• implementing solutions that stay stable as your company grows

The goal is simple:

Your team focuses on customers and product.

Your systems handle the repetitive operational work.

(Because computers are pretty good at that.)

A Little About Me

I’ve always been the person who looks at a messy workflow and immediately starts mapping out how it could work better.

Where others see chaos, I see patterns.

Where others see “that’s just how we do things,”
I see automation opportunities.

Brass Tactics grew out of that mindset:

Practical systems.
Thoughtful automation.
And solutions designed to make teams more effective without adding unnecessary complexity.

My Background

Before founding Brass Tactics, my work spanned product operations, systems architecture, and program leadership roles across SaaS organizations.

Former roles include:

• Director of Internal Tools & Knowledge Management
• Solutions Architect
• Senior Product Manager / Product Owner
• Program & Project Manager
• Agile Coach
• Operations Strategist
• Business Analyst

Creds (for the fellow process nerds):

Who I Work With

Brass Tactics typically works with:

  • Series A–C SaaS companies

  • enterprise Product Operations, Support, and RevOps teams

  • organizations managing complex tool stacks

  • teams trying to eliminate manual operational work

We’ll work well together if:

  • you want your systems to actually make life easier

  • you value thoughtful process design

  • you’re ready to remove manual operational work

  • you want automation that actually helps teams move faster

  • you are ready to get sh*t done

We probably won’t be a fit if:

  • you want quick band-aid fixes

  • you don’t want to change existing processes

  • “this is how we’ve always done it” is the strategy

  • you don’t have budget - Most projects start between $5K–$15K depending on scope.

I wish automation could run on good intentions and farm eggs alone… but unfortunately it still runs on time, expertise, and actual dollars. 😅

Why Clients Hire Me

Most companies don’t need another consultant.

They need someone who can walk into a messy system, figure out what’s actually broken, and fix it without turning it into a six-month committee project.

That’s the role I play.

I’ve spent over a decade working inside product, operations, and systems teams across growing SaaS companies — which means I understand how these environments actually function.

Sales tools.
Support platforms.
Product systems.
Reporting pipelines.
Internal workflows.

I’ve seen how quickly they become tangled when teams grow faster than the systems supporting them.

Clients typically bring me in when:

  • their tech stack has grown faster than their processes

  • teams are manually coordinating work between tools

  • reporting requires exporting and stitching together spreadsheets

  • product, support, and sales systems operate in silos

  • automation exists… but no one owns the system architecture

Instead of adding more tools or introducing unnecessary complexity, I focus on designing automation systems that connect what already exists.

Less manual work.
Fewer operational bottlenecks.
Systems that actually support the team.

And most importantly:

Solutions that work in the real world, not just in a slide deck.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

I believe systems should make businesses easier to run — not more complicated.

When we work together, expect:

  • clear thinking

  • honest feedback

  • practical solutions

  • systems designed for the real world

No unnecessary complexity.
No buzzwords.
No over-engineered nonsense.

Just automation systems that help your team operate better.
